The humble potato

I do love a tattie; fluffy, soft, fried, mash, sautéed, boiled, topped, grilled (I would go on if time was available but this is just making me hungry).

So here I will stick to the joys of the gracious baked potato – a mountain of fluff, topped with a concoction of whatever floats your boat – the looming mouthful of cheese, corn, bacon, spring onion, (the baked bean topper which I detest but as I have it on good authority is a must for some) and a dollop of sour cream.

A meal that is as simple as delicious and with all the effort of some chopping and shoving in the oven to crisp.
